A family adventure
Mélanie and Martin Duchateau are inseparable brother and sister, driven by the same passion for hospitality.
Both graduates of the École Hôtelière de Lausanne, they bought the former Hotel Louise in 2011. With their mother, an interior designer, they renovated the hotel while respecting the style and charm of this 20th-century Brussels house.Renamed Made in Louise, the hotel (re)opens, and the gamble paid off: you'll feel right at home!

In 2021, Martin Duchateau fell under the spell of the Welcome Hotel in the heart of the city center, a stone's throw from the Grand Place. Driven by the desire to launch a new hotel concept and restore the building to its former grandeur, he became its owner.
After two years of hard work, Made in Catherine is born.
